I need help with image selection!

Hi Ladies! I am a member of the PPA (Professional Photographers Association) and they are running a HUGE annual contest right now for members. The Grand Prize is a bunch of super camera gear and having the winnning image selected to be on the COVER of their magazine. The PPA is the largest and most well respected organization of pros in the world and I fully realize that I don't stand much of a chance against the big time names who will be submitting images...that said...I've never been one to not at least *TRY* and just go for it. I have nothing to lose! I can submit up to 10 images and the only requirement is that they be vertical in format. They tend to prefer color images on their cover but I think they'd accept B&W's as well. I know none of us have much free time but if any of you ladies would be willing to go through my business blog or website and give me a list of your 10 favorites? I am so ridiculously emotionally attached to all my images that my folder labeled "favorites" that I started for this contest is now up to about 200 images.... I totally suck at this "narrowing down" process and need some independent opinions! PPA is more old school so I'm not sure they'd be as drawn by candids as they would posed but ultimately the biggest factor is finding an image that makes you literally STOP just to stare at it some more. So if you can find 10 of my photos that make you STOP or go "wow", would you mind sharing your opinions of which ones you are talking about in a comment here? It may be a bit hard since none of my images are labeled but a good description as well as what category it is in woudl probably give me all I need to know which one you are talking about, hopefully! Again, I know this is a time consuming task but the dealine is coming up and I've made NO PROGRESS whatsoever in terms of picking my top 10 for this contest and I really want to at least make the effort of submitting something, just so I know I tried.

Comment by Shawna on April 1, 2008 at 9:46pm: Baby sitting in front of the grain of wood (black and white) is my favorite... rear shot of the little girl with the skirt...baby standing in the bucket with the sun coming up behind the trees... Women sitting in front of the stump with live strong shirt & of her holding heart...daddy holding naked baby with lights strung across the top of the photo. Hope that helps! Your photos are great...Ill keep your work in mind when I am pregnant again.

I have been attending a wonderful photo workshop all week so I have had to put this project on the backburner. I plan on getting down to the nitty gritty this weekend if I can! Unfortunately because I have thousands and thousands of images my numbers ahve all been rotated through several times by now and I don't have a system set up with tags to help identify number to picture so I have NO CLUE which images you are talking about! I am assuming that you got your choices off the blog rather than the website because I don't think you can right click on the images from the website to get the number ID. If you can give me section titles I may be able to narrow it down a bit and see which ones you were talking about. You probably don't have time for that anyways, so no worries!!! But thank you for responding in the first place :)

However, if you have a second this weekend (and are so inclined of course) to look through the categories on my website which has less images to go through, I'd totally appreciate it!! THANKS! :)
